Deutsch: Midzentrisch / Español: Centrado en la Mitad / Português: Centro da Metade / Français: Centré au Milieu / Italiano: Centrico /

Midcentric is the majority of tourists - displaying a mix of allocentric and psychcentric characteristics. Prefers to be cushioned from contact with locals.

Allocentric tourists are those who are motivated to travel and explore new cultures and experiences. They are open to new ideas and are willing to try new things. Psychocentric tourists, on the other hand, are more interested in maintaining their own cultural practices and values while they travel. They may seek out destinations that are familiar and comfortable to them, rather than seeking out new experiences.

A midcentric tourist may be someone who exhibits both of these characteristics to some degree. They may be open to new experiences and exploring new cultures, but they may also have a strong desire to maintain their own cultural practices and values while they travel. They may seek out a balance between the two, looking for destinations that offer a mix of familiar and unfamiliar experiences.
