Sightseeing or tourism is vital for many countries.
For a long time, the USA and Germany have been the largest travel nations until 2012, when China became the largest spender in international sightseeing/tourism.
Tourism is directly influencing the service industries of a country including
- transportation services, such as airlines, cruise ships, and taxicabs;
- restaurant services, such as restaurants, cafés, pubs, fast food;
- hospitality services, such as accommodations, including hotels and resorts ; and
- entertainment venues, such as amusement parks, casinos, shopping malls, music venues, and theatres.
