The Djémila is a World Heritage site in Algeria defined by the UNESCO in 1982 and definitely a recommended cultural sightseeing location.
It is on position 566 (257, 681, 182) in our monthly survey..

"Situated 900 m above sea-level, Djémila, or Cuicul, with its forum, temples, basilicas, triumphal arches and houses, is an interesting example of Roman town planning adapted to a mountain location."
