- Private Branch Exchange (PBX) : Private Branch Exchange (PBX)  is a private telephone network used by hotels to manage a certain number of external lines. The System enables guests to use their Room telephone to make calls to external numbers, without the hotel having to go to the expense of installing individual lines in each room.
