Travel Industry Association of America (TIA) is the non-profit umbrella trade organization of companies and government agencies representing all segments of the Travel industry formed to promote travel to and within the US.
Travel Institute is the primary educational and Certification arm of the Travel industry. Was formerly the "Institute of Certified Travel Agents" (ICTA), located in Wellesley, Mass.
Travel Product is any Product or service that is bought by or sold to consumers of trade including accommodations, attractions, events, restaurants, transportation, etc.
Traveler in Progress is the status of a traveler. The Travel Coordinator sets this status when a Travel request is submitted by the Traveler and reviewed by the Travel Coordinator.
