French: Sites fossilifères de mammifères d'Australie (Riversleigh / Naracoorte)
The Australian Fossil Mammal Sites (Riversleigh / Naracoorte) is a World Heritage Site in Australia defined by the UNESCO in 1994 and definitely a recommended natural sightseeing Location.
It is on position 942 (1040, 1056) in our monthly survey.

"Riversleigh and Naracoorte, situated in the north and south respectively of eastern Australia, are among the world’s 10 greatest fossil sites. They are a superb illustration of the key stages of evolution of Australia’s unique fauna."
