French: Forges d'Engelsberg
The Engelsberg Ironworks is a World Heritage Site in Sweden defined by the UNESCO in 1993 and definitely a recommended cultural sightseeing location.
It is on position 386 (304, 100) in our monthly survey..

"Sweden's production of superior grades of iron made it a leader in this field in the 17th and 18th centuries. This site is the best-preserved and most complete example of this type of Swedish ironworks."
