Tourism Workplace in the context of travel refers to the environments and locations where individuals are employed within the tourism industry. This can encompass a wide range of settings, from offices where travel deals are brokered to dynamic outdoor locations where adventure tours are conducted.

A Tourist is a person who is "travelling to and staying in places outside their usual Environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, Business and other purposes not related to the exercise of an activity remunerated from within the place visited" (official UNWTO definition).
A Tourist attraction is defined as being a destination for visitors' excursions which are routinely accessible to visitors during opening hours.
